Our ‘On Ramp’ class is flexible around your schedule, we will meet one on one to better get you familiar with movements and assure you are safe when entering classes.  It is designed for anyone who would like to join one of our group classes. Whether you have been sedentary, generally active, or an elite athlete, our ‘On Ramp’ class is tailored to prepare you for technical proficiency that is a prerequisite for our CrossFit group classes. During this time you will be introduced to our movement curriculum in a one on on one setting, allowing for more specific and personal guidance. You will also learn about nutrition, running technique, and all the proper movements required for the Olympic lifts, power lifts, gymnastic skills, metabolic conditioning, and journal tracking. Proper technique will be taught along with a progressive introduction each movement that you will see in our group classes. The On Ramp program will ensure that you have a solid understanding of all that we do, as well as prepare you safely for the larger group classes.

For those of you who have been doing CrossFit at a home gym /globo/park type of deal and want to come into the real deal you might be able to graduate to group sessions in just a few personal training sessions. Pricing would depend on how many sessions you would need. For most people who have been doing CrossFit online the biggest hurdle is handling the intensity of our gym and the group atmosphere. It doesn’t take long to adjust, but the first workout, or three, seem to be a bit of a shocker. Come in and we will see where you are at.

When you have successfully completed the On Ramp class or your personal training, you will be allowed to participate in our group classes. Each day every class completes the same W.O.D, so you will have plenty of options for classes that work around your schedule. Housatonic Valley Crossfit is the best fitness program around, and the community at Housatonic Valley Crossfit will have you feeling right on home. The best programming at Housatonic Valley Crossfit involves 4-6 days a week of training, this allows the most variance of your training. However, we do realize that people need other options so you can enter:
