Each person must call and book a 30-45 minute consult.  In this consult we will get a good picture of exactly who you are and exactly what you are looking for.  We will then help you decide how your journey at HVCF will begin, whether it is in program design, personal training, or on ramp and then classes.

 

The purposel here is to make sure that each person who walks through our doors gets the attention that they need and they are given the perfect plan to help them reach their goals.  This process will allow HVCF to hold true to our vision and give each of our athletes the attention they deserve  as we continue to grow.

Our ‘On Ramp’ class meets 3 days per week for 4 weeks.  It is designed for anyone who would like to join one of our group classes.  Whether you have been sedentary, generally active, or an elite athlete, our ‘On Ramp’ class is tailored to prepare you for technical proficiency that is a prerequisite for our CrossFit group classes.  During this time you, along with other beginners, will be introduced to our movement curriculum in a group setting.  You will also learn about nutrition, running technique, and all the proper movements required for the Olympic lifts, power lifts, gymnastic skills,  metabolic conditioning, and journal tracking.  Proper technique will be taught  along with a progressive introduction each movement that you will see  in our group classes.  The On Ramp program will ensure that you have a solid understanding of all that we do, as well as prepare you safely for the larger group classes.  We only allow 10-12 participants into each on ramp program, so if you would like to get started, make sure you contact us asap for the next spot.

 

Start Times for the on ramp program
Our On Ramp classes start the 1st Monday and in the middle of each month.  They each run for 4 weeks, 12 sessions and the cost for the program is $185 (plus CT sales tax).  The first session of each month runs Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm. It is highly encouraged that you stay with your group for the full 4 weeks, however if there are scheduling conflicts please let us know and we will work around your schedule.

  • The first of the month on ramp class runs every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
  • The mid month on ramp class runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm (will start at a later date).

 

Options if the on ramp times don’t fit your schedule
If the on ramp schedule does not fit your schedule then we offer person training.  You will need to complete 5 personal training sessions with a certified Housatonic Valley CrossFit coach to progress into the classes.  The cost for the 5 sessions is $300 (plus CT sales tax).  These sessions are booked according to whatever time coordinates with you and your coach.
